WEEK 4

Topic: The virtues found in Salah with Khushu'

1-Al-Ta'ah (Submission/Loyalty) 

- Establishing prayers means we are obedient to Allah

- Knowing that prayer is a duty & trust given by Allah

- If no prayer shows, a person is not obedient to God

- People who perform prayers will be given mercy by Allah SWT

- Always remember our promise to Allah (iftitah prayer)

- Always perform worship to show our obedience to God

2-Al-Jihad (Struggle in the path of Allah) 

- Really want to get closer to Allah SWT

- Having faith, Islam, devotion does not come just like that, it needs to be worked on

- Need to have high faith to obtain devotion in prayer

- Pray until someone thinks that they can no longer pray like that

- With the hope that this is our last prayer, we will be more mujahadah

3-Muhasabah (Reflection)

- Reflection, if our prayers are correct or not, our prayers include all the pillars of prayer or not. 

- Double check ourself before pointing fingers to other's sins.

4-Iffah (Modesty/self-restraint from sinful behaviour) 

- Keep ourselves away from things that are contrary to sharia

- Can refrain from immorality.

5-Tawaddu' (Humility/Humbleness) 

- always humble and far from arrogance

- a humble person, his morals are praiseworthy.

Prayer is a gift from God to human beings, because a lot of  wisdom to human beings is not just to show our obedience to him, it is clear that God loves His servants, so much so that the things we should do for Him there is good for us in it.
